How to Ship a Double Stroller
Shipping a double stroller can be a daunting task, but with the right preparation and packing materials, it can be done safely and securely. Here are some tips on how to ship a double stroller.
Step 1: Prepare the Stroller for Shipping
Before you begin packing your double stroller for shipping, make sure that it is clean and free of any debris or dirt. If necessary, use a damp cloth to wipe down the stroller. Once it is clean, fold up the stroller and secure it with straps or bungee cords.
Step 2: Choose an Appropriate Box
Choose a box that is large enough to fit the folded-up stroller. Make sure that there is at least two inches of space between the sides of the box and the stroller so that you can add cushioning material. You may need to use multiple boxes if your stroller is too large for one box.
Step 3: Add Cushioning Material
Add cushioning material such as bubble wrap, foam peanuts, or newspaper around the stroller in order to protect it from damage during shipping. Make sure that all sides of the stroller are covered with cushioning material.
Step 4: Seal the Box
Once you have added cushioning material around the stroller, seal the box with tape. Make sure that all seams are securely sealed so that no air can escape from the box.
Step 5: Label and Ship
Label your package with your name and address as well as the recipient’s name and address. Then take your package to your local post office or shipping company to send it off!
