How to Carry a Stroller

Carrying a stroller can be a challenge, especially if you have other items to carry. However, with the right technique and practice, it can become much easier. Here are some tips on how to carry a stroller safely and efficiently.

Step 1: Prepare the Stroller

Before attempting to carry the stroller, make sure that it is properly prepared. Make sure that all of the straps are securely fastened and that the brakes are engaged. If your stroller has a handlebar, make sure that it is in the upright position.

Step 2: Lift the Stroller

Once you have prepared the stroller, you can begin lifting it. Place one hand on either side of the handlebar and lift up with your legs. Make sure to keep your back straight and avoid bending over as this can cause strain on your back.

Step 3: Securely Hold the Stroller

Once you have lifted the stroller, make sure to hold it securely with both hands. You may want to use one hand to support the bottom of the stroller while using your other hand to hold onto the handlebar. This will help ensure that you maintain control of the stroller while carrying it.

Step 4: Practice Carrying the Stroller

Practice makes perfect! The more you practice carrying your stroller, the easier it will become. Start by walking around your house or yard with your stroller until you feel comfortable enough to take it out in public.
