What are the Dimensions of a Wine Bottle Label?
The dimensions of a wine bottle label vary depending on the size and shape of the bottle. Generally, labels for standard 750ml bottles measure between 3.5” to 4” in width and between 4” to 5” in height. However, some labels may be larger or smaller depending on the design.
Standard Wine Bottle Label Dimensions
For standard 750ml bottles, the most common label size is 3.75” x 4.75”. This size allows for enough space to include all necessary information such as brand name, vintage, varietal, alcohol content, and other details without overcrowding the label. It also fits nicely on the front of the bottle without covering too much of the glass.
Larger Wine Bottle Label Dimensions
For larger bottles such as magnums (1.5L) or double magnums (3L), labels tend to be slightly larger than those used for standard bottles. Labels for these bottles typically measure between 4” to 5” in width and between 5” to 6” in height. This allows for more room to include additional information or artwork on the label.
