Changing the Startup Screen on Mac
The startup screen is the first thing you see when you turn on your Mac. It can be customized to show a picture, logo, or other image of your choice. Changing the startup screen is a simple process that only takes a few minutes.
Step 1: Choose an Image
The first step in changing the startup screen is to choose an image. This can be any image file that is compatible with your Mac, such as a JPEG, PNG, or TIFF. You can also use an image from the internet or one of your own photos.
Step 2: Open System Preferences
Once you have chosen an image, open System Preferences by clicking on the Apple icon in the top left corner of your screen. Then select “Desktop & Screen Saver” from the list of options.
Step 3: Select Your Image
In the Desktop & Screen Saver window, click on “Choose Folder” and select the folder containing your chosen image. Then click on “Set Desktop Picture” to set it as your startup screen.
Step 4: Restart Your Mac
Finally, restart your Mac to see your new startup screen. The next time you turn on your computer, you will be greeted with the image you selected.
