Changing MSI Boot Mode
MSI boot mode is a setting that determines how your computer starts up. It can be changed to allow for faster startup times, or to enable certain features such as booting from a USB drive. Changing the MSI boot mode is a relatively simple process, but it does require some technical knowledge.
Step 1: Enter BIOS Setup
The first step in changing the MSI boot mode is to enter the BIOS setup. To do this, restart your computer and press the appropriate key when prompted (usually F2 or Delete). This will open the BIOS setup menu.
Step 2: Navigate to Boot Settings
Once you are in the BIOS setup menu, navigate to the “Boot” tab. This tab will contain all of the settings related to how your computer boots up.
Step 3: Change Boot Mode
In the “Boot” tab, look for an option labeled “Boot Mode”. This option will allow you to change the MSI boot mode from Legacy to UEFI or vice versa. Select the desired boot mode and save your changes.
Step 4: Exit BIOS Setup
Once you have changed the MSI boot mode, exit out of the BIOS setup menu and save your changes. Your computer should now start up using the new boot mode.
