Geralt and Yennefer Meet in The Witcher Series
Geralt of Rivia and Yennefer of Vengerberg meet for the first time in the novel series, The Witcher, by Andrzej Sapkowski. The series follows Geralt, a witcher who is a monster hunter for hire, as he travels through the world of the Continent. Along his journey, he meets many people, including Yennefer.
The First Meeting
Geralt and Yennefer’s first meeting occurs in the second book of the series, The Sword of Destiny. In this book, Geralt is hired to protect a merchant’s daughter from a creature known as a striga. During his mission, he meets Yennefer who is also on a mission to find and kill the striga. After they both succeed in their missions, they part ways but not before Geralt notices that Yennefer has an unusual magical aura about her.
The Relationship Develops
Throughout the rest of the series, Geralt and Yennefer’s relationship develops as they continue to cross paths with each other. They eventually become close friends and even lovers. By the end of the series, they are deeply in love with each other and have formed a strong bond.
