How to Make a Sadhu Board
A Sadhu board is a traditional Indian game that is played by two or more players. It is similar to the game of checkers, but with some unique rules and pieces. The game can be enjoyed by people of all ages and is a great way to pass the time. Here are the steps for making your own Sadhu board.
Step 1: Gather Materials
You will need a flat surface such as a wooden board or cardboard, some colored markers or paints, and some coins or stones for playing pieces. You can also use small pebbles or shells if you prefer.
Step 2: Draw the Board
Using your markers or paints, draw an 8×8 grid on your board. Each square should be about 2 inches wide. Then draw four circles in each corner of the board, each one slightly larger than the squares.
Step 3: Place Pieces
Place four coins or stones in each circle. These will be your playing pieces. Place two coins in each corner circle and two stones in each side circle.
Step 4: Play!
Now you’re ready to play! Players take turns moving their pieces around the board according to the rules of Sadhu. The goal is to capture all of your opponent’s pieces before they capture yours.
