How to Put a Wiss Knife Blade Change
Changing the blade on a Wiss knife is an easy process that can be done in just a few steps. With the right tools and a bit of patience, you can quickly and safely replace your old blade with a new one.
Step 1: Prepare the Knife
Before you begin, make sure that the knife is unplugged and the power switch is off. Then, remove any debris or dirt from the blade area using a soft cloth. This will help ensure that no foreign objects get into the mechanism when you are changing the blade.
Step 2: Remove the Old Blade
Once the knife is prepared, use a flathead screwdriver to loosen and remove the two screws located on either side of the blade. Once these screws are removed, carefully pull out the old blade from its housing.
Step 3: Insert New Blade
Next, take your new blade and insert it into its housing. Make sure that it is properly aligned before tightening down the two screws. Once they are secure, you can plug in your knife and turn it back on.
Step 4: Test Out Your New Blade
Finally, test out your new blade by cutting through some scrap material. If everything works as expected, then you have successfully changed your Wiss knife blade!
