Who is the Bird Man Rapper?
Birdman, also known as Baby, is an American rapper, entrepreneur and record producer. He is the co-founder of Cash Money Records and one half of the duo Big Tymers. He has released five studio albums and numerous mixtapes throughout his career.
Early Life
Birdman was born Bryan Williams in New Orleans, Louisiana on February 15th 1969. He grew up in a poor family and had to hustle to make ends meet. At the age of 17 he started selling drugs and eventually became involved in the local rap scene. In 1991 he founded Cash Money Records with his brother Ronald “Slim” Williams.
Career
In 1997 Birdman released his debut album “Baby aka The #1 Stunna” which featured hit singles such as “What Happened To That Boy” and “#1 Stunna”. The album was certified gold by the RIAA and sold over 500,000 copies. Since then he has released four more solo albums as well as numerous mixtapes.
Birdman has also been involved in various business ventures including a clothing line, a vodka brand, a restaurant chain and a music label. He is estimated to have a net worth of $100 million.
