What Eats Birds in Minecraft?
In the world of Minecraft, there are a variety of creatures that can eat birds. These include hostile mobs such as zombies, skeletons, and spiders, as well as neutral mobs such as wolves and ocelots. Additionally, players can also hunt birds for food.
Hostile Mobs
Hostile mobs such as zombies, skeletons, and spiders will attack and eat any bird they come across. Zombies and skeletons will attack any bird within their range, while spiders will only attack if provoked. All three of these mobs will drop feathers when killed.
Neutral Mobs
Neutral mobs such as wolves and ocelots will not attack birds unless provoked. Wolves will attack chickens if they are hungry enough, while ocelots will only attack chickens if they are trying to protect their territory. Both of these mobs will drop feathers when killed.
Players
Players can also hunt birds for food. Chickens can be killed with any weapon or tool, while other birds must be killed with a bow and arrow. Killing a chicken or other bird will yield raw chicken or raw bird meat which can then be cooked in a furnace to make cooked chicken or cooked bird meat.
