Halle Berry is an American actress, former fashion model, and beauty queen. She is one of the most highly-acclaimed actresses in Hollywood, having won an Academy Award for Best Actress in 2002 for her performance in Monster’s Ball. She has also been nominated for numerous other awards, including two Golden Globe Awards and four Emmy Awards.

Early Life and Career

Berry was born in Cleveland, Ohio on August 14th, 1966. She began her career as a model before transitioning to acting in 1989. Her first major role was in Spike Lee’s 1991 film Jungle Fever. Since then she has appeared in numerous films, including X-Men (2000), Die Another Day (2002), Catwoman (2004), and Cloud Atlas (2012). In addition to her film work, she has also starred in several television series, such as Extant (2014) and The Last O.G. (2018).
