Belle’s Job in Beauty and the Beast

In Disney’s classic animated film, Beauty and the Beast, Belle is a young woman living in a small French village. She is an independent and intelligent woman who loves to read and explore her surroundings. Despite her father’s disapproval, she dreams of a life beyond the confines of her small town.

Belle as an Inventor

Belle is an inventor, creating gadgets to make life easier for herself and her family. She invents a washing machine to help with laundry, a spinning wheel to spin wool into yarn, and even a harpsichord that plays itself. Her inventions are often met with skepticism from the villagers, but Belle remains undeterred.

Belle as a Caretaker

Belle also takes on the role of caretaker for her father Maurice. When he gets lost in the woods while searching for a rose for Belle, she sets out to find him. She bravely faces danger and ultimately saves him from the Beast’s castle. Throughout the movie, Belle shows great courage and strength in protecting those she loves.
