How to Make a Bell Clapper
Making a bell clapper is a simple process that requires only a few materials and tools. A bell clapper is the part of a bell that strikes the inside of the bell when it is rung, creating the sound. With some basic supplies, you can make your own bell clapper in no time.

Steps to Make a Bell Clapper
-
Cut the metal into a rectangular shape with wire cutters. The size of the rectangle should be slightly larger than the inside of the bell.

-
File down any sharp edges on the metal.
-
Drill two holes in one end of the rectangle, about 1/4 inch apart.

Your bell clapper is now ready to use! When you ring your bell, the clapper will strike against the inside of the bell, creating sound.
