How to Change the Code on a Bell Bike Lock
Having a bike lock is essential for protecting your bicycle from theft. Bell bike locks are designed with a combination code that can be changed as needed. Changing the code on your Bell bike lock is easy and only takes a few minutes.
Step 1: Open the Lock
Start by opening the lock using the current combination code. To do this, turn the dials to the correct numbers in order from left to right. When you have entered the correct combination, pull up on the shackle to open the lock.
Step 2: Reset the Combination
Once you have opened the lock, locate the reset button on the back of the lock. This will be a small button or switch that is usually located near the bottom of the lock. Press and hold down this button until you hear a click.
Step 3: Enter Your New Combination
Now that you have reset your combination, enter your new code into the dials. Make sure to enter each number in order from left to right. Once you have entered all of your numbers, release the reset button and test out your new combination by pulling up on the shackle.

To make sure that your new combination works, try locking and unlocking your bike lock several times with it. If it works correctly, then you have successfully changed your Bell bike lock’s code!
