Did any of the Bee Gees have AIDS?
The Bee Gees were a popular British-Australian pop music group that was active from the late 1960s to the early 2000s. The group consisted of brothers Barry, Robin, and Maurice Gibb. Despite their immense success, none of the members of the Bee Gees ever had AIDS.
History of the Bee Gees
The Bee Gees were formed in 1958 by brothers Barry, Robin, and Maurice Gibb. They achieved international fame with their 1977 album Saturday Night Fever, which spawned several hit singles including “Stayin’ Alive” and “Night Fever”. The group continued to release successful albums throughout the 1980s and 1990s before disbanding in 2003 following Maurice’s death.
AIDS and the Bee Gees
Despite their long career and worldwide fame, none of the members of the Bee Gees ever had AIDS. While there have been rumors that one or more of them may have had HIV/AIDS, these rumors are unfounded and there is no evidence to support them. In fact, all three brothers died from natural causes: Barry died from kidney failure in 2012, Robin died from cancer in 2016, and Maurice died from a twisted intestine in 2003.
