Delta Checked Bag Weight Limit

Delta Airlines allows passengers to check up to 10 bags per person, with each bag weighing no more than 50 pounds. Any bags that exceed the weight limit will be subject to additional fees. Additionally, Delta has a maximum size limit of 62 inches (length + width + height) for checked bags.

Excess Baggage Fees

If a passenger’s checked bag exceeds the 50-pound weight limit, they will be charged an excess baggage fee. The fee is based on the number of pounds over the weight limit and varies depending on the route and destination. For domestic flights within the United States, the fee is $100 for each bag that is 51-70 pounds. For international flights, the fee is $200 for each bag that is 51-70 pounds.
