Countries Providing Arms to Ukraine
Ukraine has been in a state of conflict since 2014, when Russian-backed separatists began fighting for control of the eastern part of the country. In response, many countries have provided arms to Ukraine in order to help them defend themselves against the aggression.
United States
The United States has been one of the most active countries in providing arms to Ukraine. In 2015, the US approved a $1 billion loan guarantee package for Ukraine, which included military aid such as anti-tank missiles and other weapons. The US has also provided training and intelligence support to Ukrainian forces.
Canada
Canada has also been an active supporter of Ukraine, providing both financial and military assistance. Canada has provided over $700 million in financial aid since 2014, as well as non-lethal military equipment such as body armor and night vision goggles. Canada has also sent trainers to help train Ukrainian forces.
United Kingdom
The UK has also provided significant support to Ukraine, including financial aid and non-lethal military equipment. The UK has sent trainers to help train Ukrainian forces, as well as providing medical supplies and other humanitarian aid. The UK has also imposed sanctions on Russia in response to their actions in Ukraine.
