How to Core an Apple Without a Corer
Coring an apple without a corer is easy and can be done with just a few simple kitchen tools. All you need is a sharp knife, a spoon, and an apple.
Step 1: Cut the Apple in Half
Start by cutting the apple in half from top to bottom. This will give you two halves of the apple that are easier to work with.
Step 2: Remove the Seeds
Using a spoon, scoop out the seeds from the center of each half of the apple. Be sure to get all of the seeds out so that your apple is completely cored.
Step 3: Slice Away the Core
Once all of the seeds have been removed, use a sharp knife to cut away any remaining pieces of core from each half of the apple. Be careful not to cut too deep or you may end up cutting into the flesh of the apple.
Step 4: Enjoy!
Your apple is now cored and ready to enjoy! You can slice it up for snacking or use it in recipes such as pies or cobblers.
